Hambledon Methodist Church.

 

 

Hambledon Methodist is a small village Church that has a strong evangelical heritage where the Circuit is investing resources to grow a parallel church to meet the spiritual needs of the changing community. Very good relationships with Anglican Parish Church and joint mid-week fellowship meetings.

 

The church has been recently completely renovated with disabled access facilities, new kitchen and lavatories (including a disabled lavatory).  There is a hall attached which provides seating and facilities for up to 50.

  • 1st Sunday 11am Morning Worship & 6pm Evening Worship with Prayers for Healing
  • 2nd Sunday 10am Family Worship & 6pm Bible Study
  • 3rd Sunday 11am Morning Worship & 6pm Prayer Service
  • 4th Sunday 11am Morning Worship & 6pm Prayer Service

 

  • 3rd Friday of every month at 7:00pm:  Prayer and Praise service with worship and music leaders with free fellowship supper to follow.
  • Every Monday 10:00 - 11:30am  Play and Stay - activities for toddlers (0 - 3 years) and their parents or carers including play activities and story reading.

 

  • Every Wednesday 10:00 - 11:30 am  Village Coffee Drop In - and opportunity for anyone to drop in for a cup of tea or coffee and to have a chat.  

 

  • Every Wednesday 4:00pm  Prayer Meeting - an opportunity to meet together for informal prayer.

Ever wondered what it's all about?

 

Over 2 million people in the UK and 10 million worldwide have now attended an Alpha course, an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world.

 

Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions

 

Starting here on Thursday 30 September Hambledon Methodist and Denmead Baptist churches are running an Alpha course.  Each weekly session will start with a simple lunch followed by thought provoking talks and question and answer sessions.

 

As a taster we invite you to join us in the Vine pub in Hambledon at 12:30 on Thursday 16 September as an introduction to finding out “What it’s all about”?
